The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars were joined by more than 200 Queensland Drag Racing Championship competitors at Queensland’s Willowbank Raceway but the weather but a literal dampener on race day proceedings.

The day’s racing was eventually cancelled after the track crew dried the track on numerous occasions, only to be affected by continuing bouts of rain.

AONFC Manager, Morice McMillin explained, “We all did everything we could to put on a show for the fans.”

“So many of them hung in there hoping the weather would clear but unfortunately – it just didn’t.

“We will be back to Willowbank soon to put on a show for the fans soon.
