The Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars have again tried to bring their nitro show to the Meremere Dragway crowd but once more rain intervened and regrettably the event has been cancelled until 2019.

Aeroflow Outlaw Nitro Funny Cars Manager, Morice McMillin explained, “We have done everything we can to get this race meeting in front of an eager crowd and two weeks in a row, weather has won.”

“The logistics to get all of the trucks and trailers, every single e one of the cars prepared and shipped as well as all of the spares and equipment to NZ has been massive. To not get the event run is devastating to our teams and crews as well as for the NZ crowd. We just threw everything that we could to try and make this event amazing but you can’t beat the weather.”

“Our guys are gutted, so much time and expense and we didn’t get to put them to good use. Obviously we want to do this more than anything and we will find the right time to do it!”
